Cook County’s judiciary has made important strides in increasing MENA representation on the bench, including the appointment and advancement of judges such as Judge Rouhy Shalabi, Judge Mohamad Ahmad, Judge Moe Ghouse, Judge Sam Betar, and Judge Bill Haddad.
A judiciary that reflects the diversity of the communities it serves strengthens representation and helps ensure that different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives have a voice within our court system.
